Ceramic Disc Capacitor 68pF




The marking on these capacitors is 68. 68 is the capacitance value in picofarads (pF).  C9 provides some high frequency negative feedback from Q4 collector to base in conjunction with R8.  This gives a gentle treble roll-off above 6kHz in line with that expected from AM radio reception.
