30 SWG / 0.315mm Enameled Copper Wire 4m

30 SWG Enamelled Copper Wire
4m as used in the HJW Electronics srystal set radio kit.

S.W.G. stands for Standard Wire Gauge.  The larger the number, the thinner the wire.  You need to scrape the enamel off the ends of the wire exposing the lighter colour bare copper underneath, before connecting into the circuit.  How do you spell enameled / enamelled?  UK = enamelled, US = enameled.  I'm going to settle on the US version, if only to stop various spell checkers complaining at me.
